Thank you!!! This rack is the perfect solution for somebody *cough* who's not confident in their ability to nail the chords just right every time onstage, but still wants to have some freedom to improvise with chord choices in the moment.

Posting my solution here in case it helps somebody else... I just got my first external synth keyboard (Korg R3) and had to devise a workflow that would enable me to cleanly record/loop MIDI, audio, or both—with no double-triggering headache. With a bit of clever routing, you don't need any fancy M4...
