P.S.: Solved. Thanks to Plogue Bidule, which helps to overcome Ableton's "special quirks"!

You have found a surprisingly capacious definition for the current situation: “particular quirks”!

Re: The record button should not automatically deactivate when you press Stop/Pause!
I'm happy for you! Unfortunately, not all Ableton users have this skill, and not all of them are happy owners of the Suite. The current state of affairs allows only privileged users to enjoy comfort, but a simple change in priorities makes it available to everyone!

The record button should not automatically deactivate when you press Stop/Pause!
Dear sirs! As you know, recording several clips of a session in an arrangement in Ableton is not a trivial task: firstly, because there is no pause button assigned by midi, and also because even if the user finds a way to implement it using a controller script or third-party software, he does not ...

Re: Please make the SHIFT- PLAY a "play button selection"
It would also be useful to make the functionality of the "Record" button customizable so that Ableton users have the choice of whether to turn off recording when pausing a set or not?! It seems to me that recording should only be interrupted when the stop mode is selected, and not when pause is ...

The process of recording session clips into an arrangement after a pause is depressing.
Gentlemen!
Share your experience: how is it possible to continue recording session clips in an arrangement after a pause between songs (to record the entire live performance in one common file, but cut out the noise of the audience during breaks)?
I recorded one song consisting of several clips of ...

Re: PLEASE make the LINK toggle button MIDI-mappable
I think this is done for one purpose only: so that we can learn to appreciate Ableton! Who would turn to software developers year after year with their desires if they were instantly fulfilled? People would just take it for granted! And so, we always ask for something and wait (either an assignable ...

Re: Drum Rack Midi To
It's just amazing that this hasn't happened yet (especially considering that the External Instrument is not capable of transferring "MIDI To" to "Track In")?! This would expand the capabilities of midi routing and simplify implementation!

Re: Notomizer on Ableton?
In my opinion, it was Ableton that created this "problem" (by prohibiting third-party midi effects from being placed on the same track as the instrument)... No DAW I know of has such a restriction.

Active scene light bar does not follow clips
Gentlemen, is it possible to configure the session mode so that the light bar of the active scene follows the track clips that move sequentially in the launch order? For me, it only moves when I click on the scene slot on the Main track.

I envy your persistence (in Ableton many simple "problems" remain unsolved for years)!

@Analog_rome
I've been using Intro for a few years... But what motivated me to upgrade wasn't the fact that I was tired of firing up a second copy of my entry-level DAW when I was missing a few tracks, but the new MIDI capabilities that were included in the 12th version of Standard.

Regarding your first paragraph, my objection is that, in reality, it is not the initial (or, as you say, basic) versions that serve this purpose, but the Trial Suite (you must agree, it is illogical to try to attract a new client with your weakest version))
