I got an Roland TB3. Analogue (or semi-analogue in this case) makes a big diffence for the/(my) ear. A software bass is more static, thats not really an advantage for such groovy basslines. Without knowing anything about your actual laptop specs other than "My Laptop is shit" it's hard to say if upgrading the drive to SSD would work for you. It's a pretty "easy" thing to do if you have some knowledge with computers and cloning a drive isn't a huge issue. I know it'...
