Re: Weird crackle artefact when recording electric guitar

I already posted in another thread about it - its the warp function - i had complex mode on, and it doesn't work well with guitars. complex mode was responsible for the crackle.

Re: Crackle noise when cutting&moving recorded audio - Live 10

It was complex, which doesn't work well on guitars which is why the problem was only with guitars.

Re: Crackle noise when cutting&moving recorded audio - Live 10

yes, these are the noises I am talking about.. oh well, you're right, I made a mistake when exporting. The artifacts would have been gone, if I exported in 44.1, which I didn't. BUT: I just found the solution. It is the warp function. It is always activated on my clips when I record sth. Deactivated...

Re: Crackle noise when cutting&moving recorded audio - Live 10

Update: It has got to be some kind of bug that has to with how Ableton treats recorded audio files. If I export the file and import again, the crackle noise does never appear - also never when I edited external samples, so that makes sense. Is there anything that can be changed in settings how Ablet...

Crackle noise when cutting&moving recorded audio - Live 10

Hey guys, for a few month I've been having this problem, called tech support, had teamviewer sessions, but no solution was found: the problem: When I record audio, make a cut and move it around (for example to edit the timing), a crackle noise starts to appear randomly - maybe at the beginning of th...

Re: Weird crackle artefact when recording electric guitar

Anybody expierienced a similar problem? No. Could it be that in those places you have some kind of modulation or automation distorting the audio? No, I don't. Little update - I record with a Kemper now, no Guitar Rig. Signal sounds totally fine while recording, and while playing back. After a while...

Re: Ableton adds a few milliseconds before the exported file

Update:

This only occurs with the new MP3 export feature. When I export wav it works just fine. I exported wav and mp3 with the same selection and same settings, mp3 adds a few milliseconds before the chosen selection of the export.

Weird crackle artefact when recording electric guitar

So here's my problem on Live 10. When I record electric guitar, after quite some time weird crackles start to appear in the guitar track. These crackles are NOT due to the recording, the appear after a certain amount of time for seemingly no reason in the track. This happens ONLY with guitar tracks,...

Ableton adds a few milliseconds before the exported file

Live 10 Problem When I export the master, ableton adds a few milliseconds before the track in the final file. This is extremely annoying when I create instrumentals for other people to record on, because it seems I don't export the files right on the grid. This is how I export files, and it has work...
