the future

serious topic time: Humans have incredibly complex and wonderful minds that are very good at reacting to a lot of situations. However, we do seem to have one gap in our knowledge. That's long term future planning. 20 years ago people told us the globe was warming. Meh. True fact, there is going to b...

Well I must be a cold heartless bastard if I think you guys are overreacting and think you could just "ew" and scroll along. Taste is one thing, censorship is another. I love cats as much as the next freak but goddamn is it really piss in your cheerios? http://i.imgur.com/g7qfx.gif This i...

Re: apc encoder set for clip start, resolution too low

You might look at using the cue encoder as this is the only endless rotary, im not at home to test bujt what your experiencing is simple to explain... Standard encoder has a resolution of 127 steps.... Clip length / 127 = how far each click will jump through the clip.... longer clips longer jumps.....

apc encoder set for clip start, resolution too low

I thought I'd be clever and map out my clip start to an encoder. turns out, if I get a song longer than 5 minutes, it will jump by 2 bars. I would like to just turn a knob to set my start position by bar. is there any way to increase the resolution, or other wise get it so i can scroll through the s...

Re: Game of Thrones

its a complicated story built on knowing the characters. so it often spends alot of time building those characters. but it pays off in the end.

and as great as the sex, gore and violence is in game of thrones, thats not what drives the series. its almost more of a mid evil political drama.

Re: What do the people on the dance floor want from dance music?

people generally (sadly) don't want to hear anything new. if they hear something new, they want it to sound like what they already know. Its particularly bad where I live. my friends who are the more successful dj's in town have done so by doing a lot of pop song remixes, particularly dubstep remixe...
