Re: Ableton Arrangement View Automation
The documentation states that the closest way to achieve this is “by manually changing parameters while recording new material directly into the Arrangement.” In my case, I’m not recording new material. I just want to draw the automation in real time on old material/signal. I don’t think it’s a feat...

Ableton Arrangement View Automation
How can one record automation in the arrangement view? It is possible to draw the automation. Though this is precise, it is faster to record automation. Take for example, I want to change my ratio of compression with time. Is it not possible to hit record and fiddle with the ratio knob? Hence, leavi...

Re: Multitrack Rewire - FL as client, Ableton as the host
FL Studio seems to slave to the same sample rate as the host - Ableton. Even then, I personally closed both DAWs and set FL Studio to 88.2KHz, then did the same for Ableton and rewired. The quality is not awful, just the kicks don't hit as hard. Sounds similar to when you have your monitor switch on...

Re: Multitrack Rewire - FL as client, Ableton as the host
Thanks a mil for the clarification! I set the rewire up. I only just realized I need to assign each FL Studio mixer channel to a numbered rewire output (the area circled in red) so Ableton can recognize each channel for their respective input signal(s) https://i.ibb.co/1Z3RN7p/FL-client.png On to th...

Re: Multitrack Rewire - FL as client, Ableton as the host
Thanks! @H20nly: It rewires fines. @DEEMUSIC thanks! the VSTi works perfectly, my operating system is windows also. I'm just keen as to if it is possible to have individual rewiring/routing for each instrument channel as opposed to Ableton receiving stereo signal output from the master channel in Fr...

Multitrack Rewire - FL as client, Ableton as the host
Hello! Is it possible to rewire Fl Studio mixer tracks into independent Ableton channels, such that each Fruity Loops instrument is linked to it's own channel in Ableton?

SSL Duende Native X-Verb
The SSL Duende Native X-Verb vst has knobs which can not be automated in ableton. The others like X-Comp, X-EQ, Vocalstrip can be automated knob-by-knob.
What can one do to make the X-Verb parameters automated? It's a lovely Reverb plugin, but dynamism is needed in the course of most tracks.

Group FX Precedence
When I group a bunch of channels together with their individual plugin chains, are their plugins applied after the group’s overall plugins or before? That is, if I have channel A and channel B with compressors of different settings applied individually to each channel/track, then I group them and ap...
