Re: Push 3 pitchbend bug?
On the standalone version there was a fault that sounded just like this, and people thought it was hardware, but actually Ableton managed to fix it perfectly with a firmware update. Do the lights next to the pitch bend strip end up going right to the top and getting stuck there when this problem hap...

Re: USB Hub recommendations for Push 3 in US
Its a type A host port. Do those devices work if you just connect one of them straight to that port instead of using a hub? If not, see my earlier posts for steps to enable devices like that.

Re: USB Hub recommendations for Push 3 in US
Also to be totally sure that the hub you tried so far really doesnt work, make sure you are familiar with how to enable additional USB MIDI devices in the Push 3 standalones settings: In order to have the additional MIDI ports actually show up in track input and output lists, or in External Instrume...

Re: USB Hub recommendations for Push 3 in US
I cant tell you which hubs work best, but I can say that the description I would use to make your request clearer to everyone is: You are looking for a hub that works with the USB Host port on the Push 3. A hub you will then use to connect multiple USB MIDI devices to the Push (presumably in Push st...

Re: Push 3 CV questions
Yes, in regards your understanding of what a suitable adaptor will give you. However that particular adaptor you link to has a contradiction between the full product title and what it says in the description. The title says the female ports are TS, but the description says they are stereo and goes o...

Re: Per-note pitch bend and External Instrument
11.3.20 release notes include:
"When Note Pitch Bend is set to Automatic in Push’s Expression settings, the glissando type will be pitch bend when using the External Instrument device with the Channel set to MPE."

Re: Generative workflow and algorithmic sequencer update to push3
Live 12 has a whole new system for this, one that 3rd parties can add to. So the key for Push is how they end up implementing this for Push users (a lot of the Live 12 stuff like this doesnt really show up on the Push UI as of last 12 beta). Even without Live 12 there were ways for 3rd parties to im...

Re: Using Push 3 MPE/Poly AT with non MPE plugins
To answer the original question, to the best of my knowledge (which might have gaps in it) you will be pretty much stuck with the same options as people used to have to use back in the days when Live didnt natively support MPE at all. Tedious, messy stuff with caveats that mean its often not worth b...

Re: Using Push 3 MPE/Poly AT with non MPE plugins
Is this the best way to control non-MPE instruments now? Did someone find a way to adjust individual notes of an instrument, rather than all active sounds? So you could modulate the pitch of one note with slide movement, while other active notes of the instrument are not affected? The ability to co...

Re: Push 3 Standalone RTP MIDI
Glad my tip gave new life to your Push journey! As for MPE, you ought to be able to leave it enabled overall but then control within each track whether that track uses MPE or not. ie If an instrument on a track isnt MPE, the pads will fall back to a non-MPE mode when controlling that track. In the c...

Re: Push 3 Standalone RTP MIDI
Its not a dumpster fire because you can use multiple USB->MIDI options via the USB host port, including the use of a USB hub (unlike the Hapax).

Re: Push 3 Standalone audio interface and USB MIDI with other DAWs?
The simple answer is no, you will need to explore ADAT options and other MIDI options in order to digitally connect the standalone Push to your computer. This is because when running as standalone, the computer built into the Push 3 is connected to the built in audio interface and MIDI connections a...

Re: Sending output to Push 3 standalone ADAT
Yes you need to set the main outputs in your Push project to go to output channels 9 & 10. To avoid pops and clicks you also need to decide whether the Push or the audio interface will be providing the clock, and change settings in the audio interface or the Push to follow the ADAT clock from th...

Re: Push 3 Standalone RTP MIDI
For workaround purposes, the WIDI bluetooth dongles actually work better than people tend to expect. The WIDI Bud Pro should work with the Push 3 USB host port and will show up in the Push settings just like any wired USB MIDI device would. Alternatively the WIDI Jack might also work with the 3.5mm ...

Not at this stage because audio devices arent supported by the USB system at this time.
