Re: PUSH AT NAMM VIDEO

Imagine getting really good at playing in pitch mode and not needing a normal keyboard controller anymore for intense playing. No need to imagine; check out Jeremy Ellis on Push: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WonRC4w8nQo Of course, he was already really good ;) Hanz WOW! Boom. That. Thanks for th...

Can't wait for this! Completely a new instrument to learn. Imagine getting really good at playing in pitch mode and not needing a normal keyboard controller anymore for intense playing.

Re: New MBP Retina? USB 3.0 Ports and USB 2.0 Devices...

I will say one thing though... the once-beautiful Live interface now looks really craggy and rough on a gorgeous retina display... roll on an Ableton update... But it is a fast machine. :) indeed, I downloaded the demo to a Retina MBP at the Apple Store yesterday and it really looked bad - even at ...

Re: New MBP's and the death of desktops for us studio nerds?

@ Tarekith; I don't think that your assumption is correct, because of the fact that these i7 processors are a new generation they could be more powerful per Ghz then the ones that were introduced last year. A Pentium 2.8Ghz will be beaten by any i3, i5 or i7 processor on any clockspeed... "Cou...

Re: MacBook Air: Who's Got One and Can It Handle Live?

I have an 11" and I run Live and Logic on it - no issues. Is it a CPU powerhouse? No, but what it IS is an amazing disk playback machine. In Logic, I can run 96 STEREO tracks at 96K! All off the internal boot storage. That flash storage really makes a difference! As long as you keep printing yo...

Listening to the demos, to me it sounds as thin as most softy's, nothing special in that area?
Download the demo and program it yourself. Definitely not thin at all.

Re: RIP: Michael Jackson ?!?

I know a few people that worked with him in the studio. While not really being a proficient instrumentalist, he WOULD literally sing ALL the parts to the musicians/arrangers note for note, chord for chord - from his head. He would have the entire thing in his head and dictate it. Harmonies, string p...

Yep, runs perfectly on both my PPC and Intel systems. No issues here. Tons of plugins, tons of virtual synths and tracks. Smooth as silk.
