I'll probably get stoned for this but I think portishead and prodigy are excellent examples of how loose quantised beats can be really really groovin. I'm sure they focus greatly on the placement of sounds but not every hit is on the 16th or 32nd all the time which adds alot of energy to any beat. ...

Hi all I wont even get into explaining how I managed to do this and how I could possibly be so careless but I have quick formatted and installed windows XP on my external drive....erasing all my samples, all my MP3s, and all my Reason and Live song files :( I downloaded a trial version of OandO disk...

Without Reason's NN-XT you will obviously also need a full-on Sampler. just out of curiosity..why are you using Logic, Cubase, and Live???

Dope track! I think I just may wanna touch YOU 8O seriously though, I dig it.....BUT you NEED to turn up the string part, its very catchy. Its actually the hook IMHO but its sitting WAY down in the mix. Tell you what, if your happy with the strings then just send me an alternate mix with the strings...
