Does a tempo change require stretch processing on a frozen track?

Hello all, I'm working on a song that features several large tempo changes. My projects, as time goes on, start to become LARGE. The sole purpose of my using ableton is it's ability to freeze tracks to save CPU so I can get larger and larger projects. Now this particular song I'm havign trouble with...

Is it possible to export automation data?

In my project I'm trying to go back and forth between Ableton and Bitwig, because I'm using MPE so I need bitwig, but my song has a tempo change, so I'm trying to apply the tempo change from ableton to bitwig. There's no way I could accurately make the exact same shape with the bezier curves, and su...

Re: Why is it still not possible to freeze sidechain-tracks?

This would really be a GREAT option. I don't see why it shouldn't be possible. For example, give an option to freeze multiple tracks. Like, ok my bass is sidechained to my kick so I can't freeze it. Well freeze them both then!!

Man I'm new to ableton so I didn't realize the update trouble these guys were having. I think I'm just gonna get bitwig. I'll still rock ableton too though.

No MPE, so instead how about a compromise?

I'm a reasonable guy. I don't expect the entire world to bow to my will. If ableton doesn't want to provide MPE support and be on the bleeding edge, then that's their choice. So I bought a ROLI block, and I love this thing. It's been a slow burn, and it started with my toe in the water, but the deep...
