Got it!

The issue had been causes by Privacy & Security settings in Preferences. For SOME reason the option to allow Local Network access was disabled for Live...

Update: I had been able to reach Push 3 after creating a new user on my machine. Obviously it is an account related issue.

Waiting for the support to help me fix this issue on my original account.

Did you try using Push's Hotspot feature?

Yep, tried Hotspot on Push, different WiFis (5 Ghz, 3 Ghz, Mobile Hotspot) and Ableton Link. No success.

Yes I did, few days back. No response yet.

I can also ping the push (push.local). So it is accessible via the computer and network in general...
Also I successfully re-authorized Push 3.

Obviously it is not a network connection ...

I am having exactly the same issues. Updated to the most recent Push 3, Ableton and MacOS version, but no success. I wrote the support team already, with their answer:

Sorry. Last message turned out to be not true. The problem even got worse. In the beta drum pads are playing, even when there are no notes (actually not even a clip)...

Unusable.

I can actually report that with latest beta (version 1.1.20b2) at least the problem with the drum pads not lighting up correctly seems resolved. Haven't checked the other issues or did not experience them so far in this version. Though clip editor still buggy (cannot edit some notes suddenly etc ...

Yep, those are issues that probably every P3 user has already experienced.
The latest betas have improved things, but it's not release ready yet. You could join the beta program on Centercode though if you're up to.


Well, glad to hear I am not alone. So at least there is hope that those issues ...

sorry to rant a little. But I expected Push 3 to be quite a bit more solid than this. Do you have the same experience?

Let's start with the positive:
- Hardware feels good
- Great Workflow

I just realised, that the behaviour of Ableton Live and Push 3 is not the same.

While launching a clip, I want to avoid that the track where the clip is located gets activated automatically. In Ableton I set the according option in preferences and it works while Push is in "Live Control ...

I realised the jog wheel of the Push 3 is just too slippery for scrolling through long lists. I would have appreciated a little "dent" / deepening of the finger on the top surface, but that's not there.

So I put a rubber band around the wheel. I could not find the right size easily at the usual ...

Love it for generating ideas and jamming without a screen.

BUT it's BUGGY.

- Suddenly some devices stop displaying their information (e.g. Simpler). Parts of the software instrument are just frozen.
- Also simpler's filter stopped working and just did something
- Wavetable: Adjusting pitch jumps ...
