Hi all,
Live 12 is on the way, this is great news and there are plenty of interesting new features.
Strangely, there is absolutely no info about optimisation for apple M chips or performance in general...
I find this weird...

The M2 machine will be orders of magnitude faster and run cooler than the intel MBP you have, it’s literally one of the biggest jumps in computer power you’ll likely ever experience. I am running live 11.2.11 both on a 2019 macbook pro (2,4 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9 32 mb) and on a 2018 mac mini (3,2 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7 64 mb) and I am noticing that with my current sessions (lots of "live" tracks and vsts) the better specced macbook is barely powerful enough for ...
