unfortunately, you will not be able to do it from the clip.
you can route separate midi tracks into the track with Kontakt.
use the "Midi to" of those tracks to set the midi channel.

No it does not but check out Clyphx
https://isotonikstudios.com/product/clyphx-pro/
it used to be free and stray finally started rightfully charging for it.
the fee is really cheap for the amount of awesome it is.
here is the link to the old forum post too

Re: External pedal effects / foot switch with Live
Thes are all really good questions.
I always recommend building up gear slowly when possible. This gives you time to learn your needs better.
For live performance the Audio interface and CPU is important. You will want the lowest latency possible.

Re: Surround setup for Live
the return of the ancients :)
I'd like to add the Keith Mcmillen K-mix to the mix for people that perform live surround sound shows.
it has 8 outs and built in pan that you can set for set for as stereo, 4, or 8.
I do not have the speaker setup yet but I may possibly have an octal gig in the fall ...

for latency issues.. as in the delay from when you make the sound to when you hear it
open preferences and go into the Audio section
You will want to make sure to get you buffer as low as possible but not so low that your CPU glitches
128 samples is generally the best unless you beatbox then you ...

The best thing to do when working with saved Templates
is to immediately do a save as to the desired location before you start working.
all files created will then be within that project

Re: One 5/4 bar in a 4/4 verse in Session
you can change time Signature with a scene launch just like you can change tempo with a scene launch
add 3/4 into the scene name
ie
Scene whatever 104bpm 3/4
next scene 104bpm 4/4

Re: Sustaining short samples/making them longer in Sampler
sometimes you can loop and sometimes you can't
the trick is finding a smooth cycle and getting it on a zero crossing
snap sometimes needs to be turned off to find the sweet spot manually
Fade and length can help but unfortunately, warp has to be turn off
you could try stretching it with warping ...

Re: Ableton Midi Clip Tempo
you pretty much want to play with a click track or drum loop so your performance is on the grid.
I do know for getting your ideas in that can be an issue because you just want to play it in.
Ableton Looper is a big help for this.

Re: Ableton Midi Clip Tempo
Ableton removed the Tempo adjustments per clip. Probably to make room for the new buttons they added.
