hi I want to hear how you guys go about saving projects as you move from starting to finish.... Obviously the first step is to "Save As" so it creates a folder.. but then as you go along and make new clips edit, delete takes etc.. do you guys continue to use "Save live set" ? or ...

Hi I am reading a lot that to make kicks sound better you need to have a punchy top end kick and a low end subby kick mixed together... I make pop music on ableton and usually im just finding kick samples (on ableton browser or on splice) that i think sound good and dragging them in, do u guys think...

in the envelopes section of the midi clip it does allow u to automate pitch but it only goes up and down 5 semitones, I know if I have sampler I can increase that range but I only have simpler

hi in logic I can easily select sections BETWEEN locators and hide them or rearrange them.. I work only in arrangement view is there anything like this in Ableton? Like where I can select the "Chorus section" in arrangement view and hide it or select everything within an entire section bet...

this may be a dumb question but sometimes when I copy at midi clip using (ALT-drag on Mac) it copied the automation data behind it, but sometimes it doesn't...

I'm confused, how do you get it so that when I ALT DRAG a midi clip the automation behind it gets copied along with it?

in Logic Pro there is a humanize option where u can increase it and it will slightly and randomly shift the position of midi drum notes to give a more human feel, how would u do that in Ableton standard edition?

in the piano roll, you can take a set midi region/section and press cmd D to duplicate that exact region/section to the right, but how would you do it if you wanted to do it to the left? (and I know you can do cmd-I and insert time, but that doesn't work when you have other midi notes below it that ...
