what version of Live are you using? i'm on the current version of Live 10 and the Alesis VI does have an official control surface script available in the Live MIDI prefs... https://help.ableton.com/hc/en-us/articles/209774285-Using-Control-Surfaces 9.2 There is also the official guide on their webs...
