Hi all
I'm using a simple midi clip with 4 midi notes driving a virtual piano instrument with very long note sustain.
Problem is every time the midi loop restarts, it cuts off all of the tails/sustained notes still playing from previous loop play.
Is there any way to stop this without using two ...

MIDI Monitor Auto random behaviour
Hi all
after using for a few gigs Ableton and Push, I noticed a problem with the MIDI Monitor Auto setting.
I usually use this as I play parts on my Push2 or external keyboard, so as long as I assign to the track the correct midi input and the track is selected, setting MIDI Monitor to Auto is the ...

Re: Switching live sets on stage (no I can't make a giant one)
Final solution...don't know why is so hard to find it from search engines
http://www.maxforlive.com/library/device.php?id=2848#12521
Load a set from another song but fully controllable..and you can make a clip to automate it...and yes it takes care of the Dialogs as well! :-) Basically it does ...

Re: Switching live sets on stage (no I can't make a giant one)
Further solution, here's what OnStageLive does with simple Applescript to open a project and turn off any dialog screen:

And with a cheaper app like this one:

Following on this, solution is to use ClyphX Pro and pushing the mode change via clip.

Re: Video Window full view on external monitor (Macos, hdmi)
Replying to my own question, the only two solutions working seem to be EboSuite and RemixPro Video.
I solved with the second one, being MIDI automatable I mapped some functions to my Push 2 user mode so I can switch quickly from controlling one or the other!

Re: Footswich usable on port 2 thread
I was really shocked to discover this basic flaw of the pedal 2 recording behaviour and the delay in stopping it due to double press logic!
I wrote to support@ and they should definitely change the logics using a HOLD logic instead of DOUBLE PRESS, that would make it much easier and cleaner ...

Re: No parameter mapped (Max GainStereo)
Brilliant...might be a coincidence, but when I was investigating today about another limitation (how to save scales/keys with Livesets and Push 2 together), I arrived exactly to ClyphX...without even investigating more, I bought it as it seems indeed what Ableton should have done in terms of ...

Re: No parameter mapped (Max GainStereo)
Thanks, so indeed you mean to modify the Device in Live.
I'm not new to programming, but honestly is quicker to use another similar component that is mapped already as we talk about a simple gain control.
To be honest though is unnecessary limited this Push 2...very flashy and really nicely done ...

Re: No parameter mapped (Max GainStereo)
Thanks for your reply
I know is not the fault of Push...what do you mean by reprogram the device?
Live can see that parameter Gain as one available to the MIDI mapping, so how do I map it to Push 2 considering that I’m using it as controller on stage?

No parameter mapped (Max GainStereo)
I think is a noob question but can't figure it out...so I kindly ask to someone with more knowledge than me :-)
When Push 2 shows 'no parameter mapped' (for example on the Max GainStereo device)...how do I assign the only control that the device has (the Gain!) to one of the knobs?
I can only find ...

Thanks a lot for your reply :)
I do still love a lot Live and Push 2...but still I think where they gain for the novelty of the idea (and that's a very good idea!), they fall at lots of things that matter once you get out of bedrooms or youtube and have to actually perform where your Logic or Pro ...

Push 2 default view/configuration (Session on, Mix on)
Hi all
just got my Push 2 and is really a great device! I thought I checked all I needed to check, but even going through the manual I can't seem to find something I thought was simple...
Is it possible to somehow save a 'View' (or configuration) so that Push 2 automatically goes for example with ...

Re: Switching live sets on stage (no I can't make a giant one)
An update for whoever reads this.
For the videos I solved brilliantly (I need to launch them and have them go while I play) with Remixvideo, that can be controlled by the Push 2 (User Mode), and has a very strong and stable external display mode.

Re: Switching live sets on stage (no I can't make a giant one)
I'm no help here, but I've always thought it VERY strange that an application called Live is so under-featured to perform on stage, live.
Changing songs is a thing which happens quite regularly in most people sets. As is changing presets! If a user has a bunch of (native) Live racks, as Ableton ...
