It would be nice to be able to use a negative value in the Render Start option in Render Audio, or perhaps have a button that adds a small amount of silence (say 1 second) at the start of an export. I know I can add this in the arrangement, or add to the audio file afterwards, but it would be a lot ...

I also would like more than 7 collections or even implement a shallow hierarchy so that the existing 7 could each have a few more, say 3 or 4.

Right clicking on Track Title and selecting "Disable All" devices/effects/clips/whatever therein to save CPU would indeed be very nice.

Thanks for this suggestion [jur]. I plan eventually to delete the original corrupt user a/c to recover the 140 GB of drive space it's using so that isn't an option. But I will copy my old Music/Ableton/ folder to another location and point the new Ableton there, rather than overwriting the default. ...
