i`ve made a maxforlive patch which is modelled after the chaosdesigner from StylusRMX. so you can make beatrepeat style effects and more. it works best with sliced loops (this way you can use the reverse and pitch effect) but u can use it with all midi clips! Maybe it's just me, but I miss the old Phaser, Chorus & Flanger (& the respective presets).... I know I can save the old devices inside an instrument and copy them from the old user library to the new one, but does anyone know how to access the 'Core Library' so I can access and copy over AL...

Right, not given it much thought (or tried it!) but this might work.... if you were to sample your midi clips (opens a world of other audio possibilities too ;) ) then have 4 clips (one for each group), each with every sample of that group assigned to a different chain then use a random lfo to trig...

Not 100% I totally understand but if you could record the midi output of the track into another track, you should capture all of the midi notes played from the triggered clips. Which audio file formats?

I've not (yet?) had a problem dragging in wav, aif, m4a or mp3 files.

Live 10.1, OS 10.14.5.

Happened with both WAV & FLAC. I don't use any others.
