Connecting ipad as input device
Hi everybody, today I saw a video on YouTube by Andrew Huang ( https://youtu.be/3o-XFJ15gM8 ), connecting his iphone to Mac computers via USB and recording audio so I tried with my Ipad 8 but I had some issue, and the strange thing is that I could connect it on Live v.9 but not on Live Standard v.10...

Panning control with Novation Launchkey 61 mkII
Hi everybody, hope I didn't lose an existing answer in my search, before writing... This afternoon I was working on a new project and I wanted to control my pan pots with the Launchkey round buttons, as I usually do, but when I hit the In control dedicated button in the launchkey to select 'pan' the...

I loaded a third loop and everything was ok, both in Cubase and Live; same metering levels...

Re: metering question
HI Tarekith, thank you for answering. I did but anything changed... Some more details: the loop I was askin' about is from a Cubase library. I tried with a different loop, that I created and recorded, and the metering peak level was quite the same in Cubase (-2.4) as in Live (-2.36); nothing changed...

metering question
HI everybody,
I noticed that I get different level in Live metering compared to Cubase, playing the same audio loop (both in Rewire and single app running); I would be grateful if someone could explain me the difference (In Cubase scale is +3dB Digital Scale)
Thank you,
arfo

Re: Simpler strange behaviour
Hy yur2die4, thank you very much for answering! I'll try to follow your suggestions and I'll let you know if I can succeed; I'm not a "cc master" indeed so I'll have to do some attempt... I'm more used to Cubase and Live is really a different world, very fascinating but also very complex.....

Simpler strange behaviour
Hi everybody, hope I posted in the right place; I think my question is more for a forum than for technical support... I'm a Live owner from a couple of years, first Lite version and now the Standard 10 one, but only in the last period I started to try something more personal rather than using preset...

Re: Importing and warpin (drum) loops created in cubase
Thanks again, pottery! The piano part was quantized, straight quarter, but this looks like it isn't enough... I didn't know the :2 *2 buttons again but, as I wrote, I 'm a real newby, as I opened the software just a few times, and this is not a simple software to learn, I guess... (I generally use m...

Re: Importing and warpin (drum) loops created in cubase
Onestly, I didn't know this but... ...I see that when I import a loop, expecially the first one, both in the arrangement view and in the session view, the project tempo changes to fit the loop bpm; the odd thing is that Live reads the piano track loop as a nearly 80 bpm one and the drum loop as a 16...

Re: Importing and warpin (drum) loops created in cubase
Hi pottering, thank you for answering! You're right, I didn't explain well... Basicly the trouble is that when I import the loop(s) created in Cubase, different tracks, each starting from 0, Live doesn't recognize the right bpm, even in the easiest case, the drum loop... (in my case 80 bpm instead o...

Importing and warpin (drum) loops created in cubase
Hi everybody, I'm a newby in this forum and a new live user, as I've got it in bundle with a novation launchkey 61 keyboard I recently purchased (live 9 lite). I was trying to import a drum loop and some longer tracks created in Cubase 7.5 at a fixed bpm of 80 but Live seems ignoring is warp functio...
