Even though I enjoy the glue compressor a lot, Particularly the Soft Clip..

One day I did some tests matching up Glue vs Compressor, pushed both it to upper limits, which resulted in the glue sounding really messy in comparison to Compressor.

I know the glue is meant to be a quick fix, however ...

I would like to use the Ableton Compressor as a master bus compressor. The Glue doesn't have many options for knee or detector settings, so I am curious, what would be your go to settings for using it as a master bus compressor for Glueing and your reasoning?

The last time I checked Bitwig it was still running at 32bit floating point, where as logic, reaper and Live(sort of) run at a 64bit floating point algorithm. Was that factored into the results when testing?

I went through Ableton Suites sound presets and under Mallets I heard a couple Balafon presets which sounded really close too.. I can hear a bit of a slap back delay or a late reflection (50ms) reverb on the Melody not much in the way of compression, but possibly a High pass filter... Also, I think ...

Try getting the tuning of the melody by isolating the melody using this site - https://melody.ml/

In terms of sound presets, I would recommend searching for something under Mallets, Plucked, or percussive.
