Re: Arrangement position not placing 1 on the right beat
I forgot to mention I am working in session view, so there's no timeline to which I can add a single bar of 2/4 eg.

Arrangement position not placing 1 on the right beat
Hi all I'm busy programming a show with many cues and vamps etc. I'm presently working on a cue in 4/4 that starts with a 2/4 count in, plays for 70 bars then vamps and has to devamp to the next cue at the end of the bar. All the programming is correct (quantization set to 1 bar) except that ableton...

Drag MIDI between Cubase and Ableton while in Rewire
I'm using Ableton and Cubase in rewire mode and have noticed I can drag MIDI clips from Cubase onto a track in Ableton, but vice versa doesn't seem possible. Anybody know of a way of copying midi note information in Ableton and pasting it into Cubase without having to create a MIDI file?

Show Stop Position on Timeline
Is there a way to get a Playback cursor to show where you are when you hit stop? I'm doing film work and am running Ableton in Slave Mode with Cubase and am constantly struggling to find my exact location on the timeline when I stop in Cubase. The arrangement position shows accurately in the transpo...

Pitch shifting a Reverb
Does anyone know of a plugin or a How-To to pitch shift a reverb decay? Basically I want to play single notes on a piano with massive reverb and have only the effect pitch glide down. The input sound must stay uneffected!

Volume Envelope on NON-warped clips
I have seen a similar post from 2006, but hadn't found an answer. Is it possible to create a volume (or any other parameter) envelope on NON-warped audio clips in session view? I know there are work-arounds with virtual IAC channels but was hoping for a much more straight-forward way of doing it...

Re: Send a MIDI Note to QLab
Managed to get it to work... It wouldn't work with the USB midi cable. But the moment I ran it through the MIDI outputs on the soundcard, it worked. I'll troubleshoot some more, but this was very strange. And it was as simple as creating a MIDI note in a MIDI clip and routing it out through the soun...

Send a MIDI Note to QLab
This might seem a stupid question, but how do I send a MIDI note to QLab? I'm trying to send a note to QLab which will trigger a series of cues for a lighting desk. I can receive MIDI from QLab but it won't recognise anything I send. I'm sure I'm doing it wrong. If someone could point me to a step-b...

Re: Stop Clip Rules
Hi S4racen I have done the Remove Stop Button thing in other instances and it works great. But in this case I don't want the clip to play out- I want it to stop once the newly launched clip reaches a specific point. In an ideal world I would like it to do the following: 1. SCENE 1 launches Track A C...

Stop Clip Rules
HI there. Are there commands or rules I can apply to only stop a running clip a predetermined time after launching a new scene? I have a drone running in a clip and only want it to stop 4 counts after a new clip on a different track has started playing...
Thanks!
Thanks!

Hey [jur]
I assumed it could be possible with m4l. Any further ideas? I’m not an expert with m4l...

Re: Command for BACK TO ARRANGEMENT
Hi there- yes- the equivalent of the F10 button. I want a command to run at the end of scene to go Back To Arrangement without having to hit any keys. I want the show just to be a series of ENTER commands for the Musical Director. (PS: I'm from South Africa.)
