Yep. It was the computer keyboard controller thing. I think when I was using the Captain plugins it got enabled automatically.

So I'm working on a DnB tune and trying to do a Moog with a synced wobble filter. I'm using the Arturia Minimoog. I've only recently started actively toggling automation, because i didn't realize some of the more classic editing styles had been disable when automation is enabled. So now I'm kinda liking being able to quickly toggle in order to do more destructive editing/arranging. So... why did it stop working...

Thanks @garyboozy, I had no idea!! It makes sense, I do a lot of automation and never really though to toggle it on and off. this is a game changer, as I like to do a lot of destructive editing in my songs for drum fills and random bits.

In older versions of Ableton you could highlight a portion of a clip and delete/duplicate/etc. and it was quick and easy. Now you have to make sure you've got the top bar of the clip selected as well. It's a pain and slows me down. I don't know what they call this option. Is there any way to disable...
