Clicking Solo, Mute/Enable, or Record Enable should not bring that track to focus
I've got 15 tracks. I've got 3 tracks soloed. I'm working in the device chain of one of the soloed tracks. I want to remove one of the three tracks from being soloed so I CTRL+Click the Solo button of that track. Now that track is in focus and its device chain is being shown. 99% of the time, I want...

Deactivate Plugin
Right now, disabling a plugin removes its CPU load but memory and latency are kept (presumably so you can A/B without audio glitches). I would like the option to completely shut down the plugin, reclaiming the memory and latency. I don't mind if the audio glitches or even if I need to stop playback ...

Re: Preference: Put track names ON THE LEFT.
I think I know exactly why Live is laid out like this. It is for semiotic reasons. Every signal flow is represented as moving from Left to Right. Re: Choice of CPU for new computer
Thanks all. I should have put my typical flow in the original post but I was trying to keep it short (I tend to ramble). So far, my workflow is: - electronic/industrial music - some light tracking (mostly single instruments/vocal tracks recorded individually) where the audio is then processed. I don...

Choice of CPU for new computer
I'm going to be replacing a ten year old Mac Pro and I'm looking for advice on what proc to get. I'm switching to PC as the new Mac offering doesn't look great for me. I'm not going to build it myself but instead going through a local shop. They offer the following i9 CPUs: Core i9 10900X 10 cores @...

Re: Modwheel Automation
In case anyone is searching the internet for an actually helpful answer (like I did) and comes across this, Live 10 inexplicably *still* doesn't allow CC messages from a controller through the host (Live) to a plugin and capture that as automation in the arrangement view. All other major DAWs do thi...
