To anyone who has extensive experience in midi editing. Is there a way in AL to play the same note twice at roughly the same time, but with a little offset and 2 different velocities? For example, I have a keyboard key mapped to a specific drum in a drum set vst but I want it to sound like 2 sticks ...

I don't own one and will never own one, so can you please add an option in the installer to prevent it from getting installed? Currently, you have to disable via Windows and some registry hacks, so kind of a pain. Thanks

Ableton could use a kill switch for all audio effects. When you stop a track with an effect such as a reverb or a delay with a long tail, the sound can go on forever if you have a high delay time or a feedback....stuff like that. It would be nice to be able to stop all the audio from those effects ...

Yes, but some of the features people ask for would make Live more streamlined than it is now. So, there's that too

With freeze and flatten being such a good feature, I'm surprised that it doesn't apply to groups or highlighted tracks. Unfortunately, to be able to freeze a group, you have to apply a hack using sidechaining (or use a paid max4live device). I'd really like to be able to highlight a subset of tracks...

Just for sh!ts and giggles, I tried 143 bpm, and it was in sync longer but eventually drifted. So is it possible that a digital drum machine's bpm isn't accurate?
