Memories

Good evening, How many memories is it better to have, working with Ableton and doing audio editing in general? And how to configure them, meaning where to install what? At the moment I have 2 NVMes of 1 TB each, with OS and DAW on the first, and the second for saving. I'm wondering if it wouldn't be...

It's funny how that happens sometimes. Glad the un/install worked! Great interface, I had one and it "kinda" went belly up but I'm in the minority.
It's a good interface for sure; although understanding how TotalMix (its software) works, can be difficult.

Re: No ASIO

Ok I've just reinstalled the RME's driver and now it seems to work; previously I had done a clean reinstall of Live and performed a drive's clean-up.
Thank you for the suggestion.

No ASIO

My Live 11.3.3 doesn't see ASIO from a RME Babyface Pro, updated to latest driver and firmware. Live only shows MME/DirectX as possible option. What could i do to get ASIO back?

Microtuner on Analog

Hello, I've tried using Microtuner on Analog and it doesn't work, any setting in the first seems to affect the latter. Why? Is it because of MPE?

Concert pitches and tunings

Good morning, I'd like to make experiments with different pitches and tunings (for instance using Scientific pitch or Just intonation) when playing instruments, and I've found out this is something quite difficult to achieve in Live. My workaround so far (concerning Grand Piano) has been fine tuning...

Re: Tuning Grand Piano

Hello, thank you for the answers.
In the end I decided to upgrade to Suite so to get Sampler and also benefit from the other instruments included.

Tuning Grand Piano

Hello, I'd like to make experiments by tuning Grand Piano, eventually trying others than equal temperament. I have Live 11 Standard and when i load Grand Piano, it shows a multisample empty device, through which it seems i can't tune every single note, just groups of them (ff lower, f lower, etc). O...

Live 11 on i3

Good evening,

would live 11 standard run on an i3-1005G1? I'm not talking about quality, just ability to start and run.
I've read requirements talk about i5, and I'm wondering if it's absolut or not.
Thanks.

Re: High CPU load with Ableton Instrument Rack

I can't see what's the device running, 'cause i can't deploy those racks and see what's in it. I've been wondering about this: how can these sounds play, if i don't have the devices? I guess they're still there, though hidden in the Standard license?

High CPU load with Ableton Instrument Rack

Hello, I'm getting high CPU loads while using default Ableton's Instruments Rack, like pads or pianos. I can't avoid that not by even setting the babyface's buffer at 2048 samples, its highest. Whereas, a Korg Polysix or a Mono/Poly vst, loaded with polyphonic sounds and 2 internal effects, barely r...
