Re: GROUP processing included on exported stems?
Well, I just ran some tests and found out that Ableton DOES include the Group & Individual & Master FX on each individual stem. That's awesome and makes printing stems ideal here. Leaving this post online for anyone who is searching for the same answer.

GROUP processing included on exported stems?
I am using Live 10. I know that I can export ALL individual stems with Return & Master effects included on them now. However, I noticed that Ableton actually exports the GROUP tracks individually when doing this as well. This had me concerned that it was not applying my GROUP processing on each ...

Re: Live 10 Audio crackles
Thanks for that. :) I just spent another half-day turning drivers on and off, uninstalling programs and the like, but the crackling is still there. I give up, at least for the time being. I've spent too much time trying to find a solution and not really getting very far. Hey I ended up here because...

Re: Crackling And Popping Problem
Well, I have a solution (sort of) - in Bios the version of the PCI-E port should be changed to Gen3 (is set to AUTO, which should logically be Gen4 by AMD 5700 / 5700XT , I've tested also with set to Gen4 - crackling and popping all day long). I'm just wondering if it is the graphics card problem, ...

Convolution Reverb Pro presets don't stick with project
I have saved my project with a certain preset selected in Convolution Reverb Pro, but when reloading the project, it defaults back to preset #1 everytime.

"Undo Change Arrange B" ???
I have some projects recently where when I goto UNDO my last change, instead I am met with "Undo Change Arrange A" (or B or C) and then I cannot undo my last action. I don't know what this "Change Arrange A/B/C" is and it seems there are MANY of layers of it, as in, I can't even ...

Re: Lock parameters in VSTs while browsing presets
Thanks for the reply but I think you misread the issue. it isn't about saving my presets. I am just trying to "lock" the release time while browsing different sounds. So that, when I pick a new patch to see how it sounds in my track, the release is automatically set to my locked value rath...

Lock parameters in VSTs while browsing presets
Maybe this is a tall or impossible order but I wish there was a way to lock certain parameters in a VST plugin while browsing presets. For instance, I'm using Spectrasonics Trillian in Ableton to look for a bass patch with a long release time. I find alot of good sounds but they have short attack an...

In what file is plugin color coding stored?
I was moving files around in my user library to customize the organization the way I'd like, and suddenly all my plugin color coding is now gone. I am assuming its because the information was stored in a particular file which I moved or overwrote.
Does anyone know where that info is stored?

My plugin color coding is suddenly reset & gone?
I had all the built-in effects color coded & organized. Now all of those are reset. My third party stuff is fine but Ableton stock stuff has no labels anymore. How did that happen!?

Re: Rename your plugins for easier identification & categorization?
Realizing this is good for throwing a VST effect into a rack but it doesn't work so well for Packs with sub-folders of presets and such.
I can put lock one of ableton's color coded categories onto a pack with subfolders but I can't move the whole Pack into the User Library if you know what I mean.

Rescan of USER LIBRARY ?
Im installing a bunch of max for live stuff and organizing it into my user library. Creating alot of new folders etc.
But the regular rescan button and alt-click "deep" rescan doesn't work. Restarting Live is not even working.

Ah good thinking, thats a decent workaround!jestermgee wrote: ↑Fri May 22, 2020 10:49 pmI simply create an instrument rack with a loaded instance of a plugin and then you can save that however you like.

Rename your plugins for easier identification & categorization?
I have alot of plugins and the names are not very descriptive of what they actually do with names like "HV1176" and such. I do use the category folders for organization but there's only 7 of them and would need more to really make sense of all the plugin categories. Has anyone come up with...
