Grab a Zoom!
I've got one but sometimes it's just nice to browse what others sourced...and steal.

Re: Adjustments for SSD Drives

Other than 128GB is maybe a bit on the small size, no adjustments of any kind are needed. They're just faster, quieter and draw less power than HDDs and that's it. Any rules of thumb as to what I should/shouldn't store on them? I read somewhere to keep programs on the SSD (Ableton, VCV Rack etc), s...

Adjustments for SSD Drives

Just got a new laptop, it has a 128GB SSD drive. Is there a sort of checklist of making the necessary adjustments for this? Basically, I set the User Library and Factory Packs destination folders to my other larger harddrive. Anything else?

Re: Retrieving previous versions of bounced audio files

Live Project's Samples folder is pretty logical, the recorded audio is on the Recorded folder, "frozen" audio is in Processed/Freeze folder (completely different folder, so it can't overwrite the original) , consolidated audio in the Processed/Consolidate folder, and so on. If your record...

Re: Retrieving previous versions of bounced audio files

Live is non-destructive, it doesn't alter or moves the original audio, the original should be in the same place as it was before you loaded. I recorded it as a live take within arrangement view and bounced it down there (Freeze Track). I did go through the Sample folder within the Ableton project b...

Retrieving previous versions of bounced audio files

As the title says: I have a vocal take of mine that I processed to oblivion and got a really cool sound. Rookie mistake I bounced it down to audio without duplicating it and keeping the original. This was a few days ago. Is there any way of getting the original vocal recording?

Resources needed for understanding MIDI better.

Can someone provide me with some useful, easy to digest tutorial/blogs etc on MIDi and better understanding it. I'll explain my situation, might be it helps narrow down the scope of the topic. I'm preparing my live set and I'm using an APC40 for launching clips/basic mixing (Audio Effect Racks, Send...
