Re: Dragging audio and MIDI and time signature all together
I did a copy and paste time and it seems to have worked, thanks!

Dragging audio and MIDI and time signature all together
I have an arrangement with some time signature changes. I can "select all" but when I drag everything (audio and MIDI) to the right, the time signature markers not only don't move, they get messed up somehow. How can I scoot the whole arrangement to the right by a couple bars and keep the time signa...

Re: Using AD2 Suite with Addictive Drums
Then there's this which seems to be from the guy who wrote it but it's not a how-to.

Re: Using AD2 Suite with Addictive Drums
I did find this video which appears to be about AD2 Suite but I can't really tell what is going on. At first he is showing how to set up a drum rack, I don't see AD2 Suite. About halfway through he opens a project that magically has AD2 installed and then starts talking about "maycrows" (took me awh...

Using AD2 Suite with Addictive Drums
I have Addictive Drums 2. Got a single kit with SONAR years ago and decided to stick with it. I found this tool that a guy wrote: https://www.soundsuite.nl/ad2-suite/ For integrating Addictive Drums nicely into Live with a bunch of cool features. I followed the instructions, but right at the point w...

Re: Advice for drum sequencer purchase
I'm using XLN addictive drums, which does offer at least 1 or 2 electronic kits. As far as the specifics of this or that style I can't say. I can tell you that somewhat to my surprise, I had an old techno/dance track in a MIDI file but all sounds (it was originally recorded using an external module)...

Re: Quantizing and Timing of Drum parts - is hardware MIDI superior?
I have the same issue with my Beatstep Pro recording MIDI over USB. "Better" depends on your creative goal. While I couldn't hear a huge difference in my overall track before and after quantizing, I've also learned (by tracking guitar and bass relative to drum patterns) that my ear is not super sens...

Re: Ableton Exporting to A Silent WAV
Make sure you're in arrangement view and make sure the little orange button that kinda looks like >= is not selected and make sure you've selected everything you wish to include and that your tracks aren't all muted. (I think)

Re: Floating Tool Tips?
Add my vote for tool tips. It's not a small vote. I had a really hard time learning Live and this doesn't make it any easier.
Oh, I see I already voted. There you go. Oh and also thanks to whoever in this thread mentioned "?" it's better than nothing.

Re: Automation in arrangement view affects session view playback?
No reply, so I am wondering:
a) I didn't describe it well, nobody knows what I'm talking about
b) The answer is obvious, I should just RTFM (I did, but maybe I didn't understand it)
c) Nobody else has this problem
d) Something else?
Thanks,
DL

Automation in arrangement view affects session view playback?
I printed some tracks from session to arrangement view and then put a volume fade on the master bus at the end of the arrangement (using the mouse). Now when I go back to session view and play my scene, the automation plays back and fades everything after a minute or however long the arrangement is....

Re: Volume inconsistency, occasional stuck notes
Got my replacement unit. Low C doesn't stick. Took about a week and I REALLY MISSED IT WHILE IT WAS GONE!!!! I had to make up for my sadness by buying a guitar which I don't need but looks pretty. Ok it plays nice also. Overall I'm quite pleased with the warranty service and the fact that this unit ...

Re: Anyone still on XP (x86) or 7(x64) can help me out please?
Last time I built a new PC ( a few months ago) I got a Windows 10 OEM license off eBay for $6. It's apparently legit with the caveat that it can't be moved to a different system. That's probably not your big concern though. Hopefully you are aware that the older systems are no longer getting securit...

Re: Volume inconsistency, occasional stuck notes
Ableton sent me a shipping label to use directly and said they'd send me a new one as soon as this one's shipped out. Game isn't over yet but so far I'm OK (other than having to deal with it at all).
