I have the same probem and just dicovered the LFO 2.0 Haven't tested it yet but i think it should work well as a slicer. You can let the LFO controll a parameter in your effect chain. So you could put it on a Gate or on the Volume. I will try it soon. And its free! https://www.ableton.com/de/blog/lf...
