Re: Drums MIDI mapping issue
Well, there is a preset in the AD2 interface where you can select the GM map. Then your file perfectly fill the names. For the further readers: * On the AD2 interface, click on the "?" at the top-right corner and then "Map Window". * On the left click on "Map preset" * ...

Re: Drums MIDI mapping issue
download this .adg file and drop it before your vst. it will change the midi editor to show general midi drum map names on each note. as long as the vst follows gm drum specs they should match up fairly well. this GM Drum MAp file used to be included in old versions of Live but was removed from the...

Drums MIDI mapping issue
Hey, I just installed Addictive Drums 2 and I wanted to write some MIDI for my drums. I created a new MIDI track and added Addictive Drums to the track. But unlike Ableton's drums, the MIDI mapper (or whatever it's name is) is not loaded, and I see a normal keyboard, even though some of the keys wor...

Re: Can't play/edit a file I created on Trial version
Either open that set and commit the offending tracks to audio, or buy the Suite version, I guess. You can probably freeze and flatten, and just be done with it. Unless Echo is on an aux track, then you'll need to record. Seems to be the only solution... Can I do it from the Standard version or I ne...

Can't play/edit a file I created on Trial version
Hello, I just finished my Trial version and bought the Standard one. I tried to open one of the songs I did Firstly, when I open it, it says: This set contains features that are limited or unavailable in Ableton Live 10 Standard. Details: The instrument "Tension" is not available. The foll...

How to switch from Trial to Standard version
Hi, I just finished my 30 days trial version and as I am very satisfied by the product, I've bought the standard version . My issue is that I can't register my serial number on the software: when I launch Ableton Live 10 Trial, it says it can't access to internet. On the website, it's adviced to uni...

Re: Can't listen to what I've recorded (newbie)
It appears your track is "disabled" as you can see it is greyed out. This is because you are making changes to it away from the timeline of arrangement (recording onto it) What you need to do is re-enable the arrangement mode with the suitably names "Back To Arrangement (BTA)" b...

Can't listen to what I've recorded (newbie)
Hey, I just started up with Ableton, and I tried to record a guitar. Everything looks fine with my audio interface, I was able to hear myself and the effects I put on the guitar. I've recorded few chords for trying out, but I can't hear anything when I click on play... It's probably silly but could ...
