Yo,

So I am using max live lfo and seemed shocked to the fact of no midi retrigger. There is an R button which does not do anything.

Can anyone help with this please? Or have a work around to get it to regrigger?

I am trying to record a pitch bend withy keyboard on a bass that I have programmed midi notes in already but when I record it deletes the midi notes as I record the pitch automation! Sure its a simple button or something but can some help please?

Not all controls in all plugins can be automated.

It depends on the plugin and the developer but if you can map some controls and not others then chances are those that cannot be mapped are not "Host Automatable"

Some plugins (UVI, Spectrasonics, Kontakt) require you to right-click the controls ...

BTW I have tried clicking on configure on the plugin itself and then selecting a dial to activate but this also doesn't work
