The solution was in the Prefrences, Section "Record / Warp / Audio":
Change "Select On Launch" to "Off".

This is independent from the interface (e.g. APC KEy25), also if you click the play button of a clip in the software directly the corresponding ...

Strange - the answer is gone.
The solution was to change the Live settings.

I'll post details when I am on the PC later (1h or so).

It looks like the error was solved with the Kontakt update to v 6.6.0
I checked on two computers and the error did not come up anymore - it was possible to load an Ableton Project with affected intruments while being on 48 khz and higher.

There is a new warning message as well when ...

I also crated a ticket on NI side as I cannot state from which side the error is caused (or whether it is a combination).
