Just got usb connections on my laptop,
Yes, looks like an audio interface is the way forward,
Is the Scarlett focusrite any good,
Or do you know of cheaper better ones?

Sorry, maybe should of explained more,
I have decks and a mixer set up, my mixer has no usb connection for my laptop nor does my decks.
So just needed to know if there is a way to connect my deck to the laptop,
And using google samples, you don't get the same quality as a piece of record vinyl.

I have a big library of vinyl records and want to take sample clips from them and put them on ableton,
How would i go about doing this please?

O. K, just a quick update.
I was getting sample offline on some of my audio, not all of it though,
I froze the audio then done the transfer and it seems to of worked,
Is this the way to do it?

O. K, that was simple enough,
But I'm not getting audio samples transfered over, not all of them anyway,
Any ideas what I might be doing wrong here?
Appreciate your help on this.

That does sound the most sensible and easiest thing,
Will that transfer all audio files and Plugins as well?

How do i get all the projects sent to the new laptop???

Read that drop box will do it but it didn't seem to work with everything.

I'm after an average midi keyboard with full size keys, drum pads and knobs,
Seen the The Nektar Impact LX25+ and looks like what I need.
Is the The Nektar Impact LX25+ FULLY compatible with ableton live 10 though?
Doesn't look like it does from there site and done forums say it isn't.

Hello, looking to get myself a mini midi keyboard in the black friday sales, can anyone tell me what they think is the best for dance music, mainly edm.

Been looking at the akai mpk mini and novation mk3 which looks set up for ableton, would appreciate some advice please.

Your Proberbly right, three doesn't seem to be a shortcut key to play the drum pad sound from my laptop, have to invest In one, thanks anyway.

is there there a short cut key to play the pad?
If I'm messing around with it I have to keep dragging the mouse over to it and clicking on it.

Anyone know if there is a shortcut button/laptop button to play a sound in the drum rack?
I haven't got a keyboard set up so cannot use that,
