I purchased ableton 10 some years ago, then I upgraded that license to version 11. When I go to transfer the license to someone else it says version 11 (upgrade) so when I sell the license is it actually selling the full license here? It's a bit confusing.

Update: I left it for a few hours then went back into the program and it fixed itself.

As per this image it says the update will be applied the next time live starts.

But each time I restart ableton live 11 after this it says "Downloading the update" or something like that, it never actually applies the update? How do I fix this?

I replaced the installation as instructed, however, I noticed today in apps in windows settings there is now two exact installations of ableton live 11 but when I start up ableton live it definitely says 11.1, anything to be concerned about as per screenshots? https://i.gyazo.com/683ce9569a79c9f36eb...

The main issues are for me, is I don't have enough disk space to install both versions. Uninstalling one version to upgrade to the next version is a lot of hassle, it takes a while reinstalling packs and such. You can keep both versions. You can also delete the previous version if you don't plan on using it.

But can I not install the new version over the existing version, or does the installer not work like that?
