Why are crash logs in binary format here, while in text format in a video?
Hi, Currently, while trying to get a crashing Ableton file up and running again, I got the tip from this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ziIkXhuYbZ4) to first look in the crashlog file. Which looks like a text file in the video. However, when looking in the crashlog file on my system it's a b...

Re: How to switch used VST2 plugins to VST3 equivalents in open project?
Ah okay. I was afraid of that. Well, in that case I guess I have to just finish this project on my older machine where everything still is installed and start new projects on the newer machine with the new config.

How to switch used VST2 plugins to VST3 equivalents in open project?
Hi, I removed all VST2 versions of plugins which have VST3 versions installed so I only have one type of plugin per plugin installed. Re: How to make sure all VST effect-signals are cleared at start of track?
Tried double/triple clicking the transport stop button? Thanks for your response. I just tried double/triple/trilion clicking on the transport stop button, but unfortunately it doesn't stop the output signal of the vst effect. On this forum somebody wrote you can reset vst effect signals by going t...

How to make sure all VST effect-signals are cleared at start of track?
When using a VST plugin for long dub-delays (in this case with the Tal Dub III delay vst plugin) on a return-track the following happens: After start playing the track, when I press stop in Ableton Live (10) the dub delay stops with the track and with that it mutes the output of the delay. Which is ...
