In Session View:
1. In the audio clip, select the part you want to keep.
2. Right-click on the selected part and select "Crop Sample".
3. Done.

Ah I found it! You need to choose the envelopes view for the clip.

Is it possible to draw midi control automation (like panning) in the Session view? I would have expected to see this together with the note editor for a midi clip.

I can't seem to figure out how to send spp midi messages on the iac bus from ableton. I can send out the clock, stop and start midi message. Listening to the iac bus, I wish to know what clip is playing in ableton and react as different clips are triggered. How can I do this?
