Re: Full screen mode means I can't access menu bar
So just in case this happens to someone else here is the outcome.. The issue didn't resolve, and together with the one mentioned above, the mouse and trackpad started acting crazy - selecting things I didn't click on, and moving or deleting midi notes randomly when clicking on them. So I logged in a...

Re: Full screen mode means I can't access menu bar
Hi jur - I did try that. It just goes back to being the same Interesting, since the latest 14" has a cutout around the camera at the top, live defaults to being full screen not taking this into account. So transport icons/buttons are behind the cut out. Until leaving full screen and going back ...

Full screen mode means I can't access menu bar
Hi Only noticed this since moving to Monterey.. When I quit Live whilst using in full screen mode, then reopen, I can't access the menu bar by hovering over the top of the screen. I have to do control-command-f to get out of full screen and then back to it in order to have it behave as normal. Anyon...

Crashing mayhem - problem solving goes nowhere
Hi all I appreciate this is boring and over-posted but Ive tried everything recommended elsewhere and nothing is working Im running the latest Live 11 on a brand new 14" MBP with M1 Max. Ive moved over my templates and racks etc from the old laptop. There was some issues with this previously bu...

Ableton Spectrum and Fabfilter spectrum compare
Hello all Tried a bit of Googling but I’m sure I’ll get a simpler answer here. Geeking out and listening to amazing tunes whilst staring at the spectrum to get a grasp of where I should be cutting and how it affects stuff on nicely mastered stuff. So started with putting ableton spectrum on a channe...

Re: Gainstaging setup for hardware
Thanks guys Little question - for this to work the presets on the synths need to be outputting similar levels of course. So, to get the best signal, Im tempted to make sure the patch volume should also be full alongside the master output volume. Make sense? Cant see why not - perhaps the preset leve...

Gainstaging setup for hardware
Hi all I have been reading about gain staging and setting up Live in the optimal way for hardware synths etc. This is what Ive done as a new template for projects - let me know if anything is particularly stupid or any tweaks etc - All hardware master volumes are set to full - All Live faders are se...

Hardware automation works then stops working
Hi all
Automating with two editors for two hardware synths, and getting the same issue.
Automating from the hardware panel works and creates automation for as many parameters as I like for a while, then after a few goes it stops having an effect. I didn't change anything within Ableton.
Anyone?

Plese help with SUB37 & Pro2 editor plugins!
Hi Im pulling my hair out, almost literally. To be honest I'm a bit new to all this, but have a pretty decent understanding and have managed for about 6 years without the synth editors Im talking about - I just think it's time to use them for a few reasons (being able to see what I'm automating/mana...
