i rather have horizontal scroll(wheel) acccess on the fx panel

yeah i figured, the only things is Live itself doesn't crash so i'm not getting any crash logs or reports whenever i restart live.
And also i can't do a technical support ticket cause i'm getting a weird authenticated loop as whenever i select "technical support" it feeds me back into the knowledge ...

Since ive updated to 12.1 on my windows 11 machine it get's stuck with scanning/indexing my samples.
I keep getting this error:

Once i click "OK" nothing really happens (Live will still work) but the Analysis will start over scanning files ...

i still can't wrap my head around the fact we can replace missing samples but we can't replace a missing vst...

Wouldn't it be super simple for us to just be able to replace a vst to au or whatever? even with losing the preset it would make it so much easier to load up old projects or collabs.

Funny how this topic started in 2018 and there's still 0 info on if ARA2 will ever be present in Ableton Live

Maybe it's just me, but the general function in setting to create clip fades on edges isn't really working well with Kick/Clap/Snare samples or other's with a short transient.

But for take lanes you almost always want fade's since almost any take lane selection will get u clicks or pops :(

So ...

and the only thing we're getting is a basic function called Comping..... smh.

If it stays like this i should switch to studio1.

100%, woud love to scroll thru fx with the scrollwheel (and all the stuff mentioned above).

100% or also a progress bar/line animation on the live icon (like how adobe premiere does it).

How u put that code into a midi track tho?

My Ableton feature wish list:

- Better piano roll (see FL)
- Audio clip ruler that corresponds with the playlist ruler (so u dont press play and it moves somewhere else)
- Always on top option for vst window’s (so u can adjust settings while viewing a website or tutorial video)
- Comping for vocals ...
