Hey guys Does any one know if its possible to high light clips with the apc40mk2 without actually playing them (just like highlighting the clip with the mouse) need to be able to do this so i can set loops inside certain clips and wondering if getting an apc is going to be worth it cheers n beers...

I have done a bit of research on it and similar people have been having same problems and its to do with HP 3D DriveGuard, it parks the heads when it feals like the laptop is falling so my guess is the vibrations could have caused this, i have disabled this device now but the only true test is to no...

would like to also mention the hard disk overload indicator was not lighting up also the cpu load meter was under 20% but i could also see the mixer levels were dropping when sound died

the only problem apart from the time consumption is running out of keys, if one has a long set !!!! hmmmmmmmmmmm any ideas ?

sussed it , am using follow actions on the midi clips that are triggering the launch scenes , so now no need to worry about having different parts of the set highlighted, its a lot of work to set up , but when was a live set not hard work hehehe , anyways hope that's some use to some one

been using the edirol ua-101 for YEARS with no problems. works best with the ASIO4ALL driver, down to ~4ms latency (in and out) at 192kHz. this is with an HP laptop, daily use. nice 1 , yeah i think this is my best plan , really cant afford an rme card , and no chance im putting my faith in motu ag...
