So I thought Id just give it a go to see how it works.

I rendered my snippet to upload, the Soundcloud window opens and says "Whoops, something went wrong" and a message indicates I need to update my browser.

Any ideas whats gone wrong?

Colour is controlled by velocity.
You need to set up a separate track routed back to the Launchpad with something on there that changes the velocity

Have you tried changing templates on the SL itself.
I dont mean in Live.

Do you have the correct midi ins and outs selected in Lives midi setup?
Are you rerouting midi back to the SL via channel strips?

The keyboard, mods and XY pad are separate from the controls.

yup its bullshit. You can only use the search if you know the name of something. I went by location but Live9s browser ruined that for me. Havent got a clue anymore, I have mfl and instrument devices ALL OVER THE PLACE. Not to mention an empty drum rack folder under instruments!!! Its a pain in the ...

Yeah, its a known that you cant drag and drop from the OS when running Live as Admin on Windows

Are you able to trigger the drumrack sounds with your kit?
Ie are you getting sound and visual feedback?

It sounds like you need to select the midi port that your midi drum kit is connected to in Ableton.

I guess Im confusing the hardware User mode buttons with the Launchpad95 modes button

Ive just updated to the newest version.
The Combined mode Sequencer is there but pressing User 2 again does not change it to normal mode

after a short correspondence with Roman... its working again in 9.05 ... for me i just had to make sure both folders were copied across both the sl_ultimate_control AND the sl_ultimate_extra_device needed to be present cheers Roman Ditto. Not working for me either.
On the SL LCD is states Ableton is offline.
Switch the script back to the bundled Remote SL scripts and it works fine.
Such a shame, just got my SL MKII yesterday.
