Alright, so after messing around for awhile, i found that for some reason I had to change the MIDI To input to "Drum Rack | 2-XO" instead of leaving it "Drum Rack | 1-XO". Not entirely sure why this is the case, but at least it works now.

Also, if I leave on an in vst FX, they still get played ...

So ive still been running into issues with both battery 4 and XO.

So i attempted to setup the drum rack the way you showed, however one issue i was running into is that XLN XO doesnt have inputs or outputs for individual drum sounds; its all one global output.
