Re: How to configure the control room setup for the master and cue outputs?
Thanks for posting your solution. Unfortunately my interface doesn't have loopback. I wish Live had this functionality already. Yes, Live should definitely have a configurable control room in the master section! If you don't have software loopback you can try the digital in/out with an s-pdif or op...

Re: How to configure the control room setup for the master and cue outputs?
Just an update here, I've figured out a way without any third-party software that works but introduces latency. And unfortunately, it only works with sound cards that support digital loopback. The idea is to send the master and the cue outputs to an inaudible stereo channel of the soundcard and then...

Re: How to configure the control room setup for the master and cue outputs?
Thanks, this is an excellent idea, but unfortunatley it doesn't include the cue output. This is a problem because if the cue out goes directly to the hardware output, it won't be processed (which can be a significant difference) and the level is 100% which will blow out the speakers... I can turn it...

How to configure the control room setup for the master and cue outputs?
Hello, software room adjustments are a common thing today. How can you configure Ableton Live to use a VST plugin generally on the master main out and cue out which doesn't get rendered into the mixdown? Ideally, it would be an effect rack to switch between different outputs, configurations, or such...

Trigger "Save" from m4l in L10 to make an "autosave"?
Hello, since L10 has a backup folder for previous project save states, I'd like to make an 'autosave' feature that saves the project every X minutes. So i can go back when something crashes, a setting of a plugin is lost that has no undo or similar scenarios. I am on 64-bit Windows 10. Thanks for an...

I'd be interested in that too. So if someone has the m4l file somewhere, hit me up.

Re: Can I disable an effect on audio export?
there is one problem with this approach, if i have it on an audio channel the mute/solo settings influence it. so its inconvenient to use... ended up having it on the master again and being annoyed some times when i forget to disable before export. damn...

Re: Can I disable an effect on audio export?
that is actually a very good idea... the master does not go out to the speakers but another channel receives the master out and mixes it to the speakers. that's a cool solution. thank you!

Can I disable an effect on audio export?
I have an effects rack on my master track that drives my main speakers, the subwoofer and has some EQ to fix the most problematic frequencies in my room a bit.
On every audio export i want to disable this effects rack automatically. Any idea on how to do this?
best,
t

Re: Access Virus and Ableton Live 9?
ok, here you go: first of all enter the remote mode of the virus ti: - press Shift+Config on the virus ti hardware. second in live: - enable the 'Remote' button of 'Virus TI Synth' in lives midi menu start mapping... nothing else needed. and the awesome thing is, that you can have 32 different midi ...

Re: Muting a Midi track does not cut the notes
by 'hanging' do you mean that they never stop? if so that will be because you are stopping the MIDI between a note on and a note off message. Indeed. But do you not think it would good idea if Live actually sent a 'note off' or 'all notes off' message so that you wouldn't get hung notes when you mu...
