Re: 'keygrid' instrument setup [with two Push 1 units]
Show off! :p How on earth have you learned to play the keyboard on that?! Practice I guess. Did you not have a MIDI keyboard and were forced to be creative? It's interesting what we can do under imposed limitations. I don't know enough music theory to tell, but I presume you have arranged the pads s...

Re: cascading ball tree samples
Those are really cool sounds. I actually thought they were synthesised at first, the way the timings seem to sometimes rotate around eachother perfectly is a surreal noise! It's interesting how a hyperfocused, up-close audio recording of something of natural origin can sound so unnatural, like it cr...

Re: I just started making music again after bad hearing
That's amazing that you're back into music again, after hearing loss at that! That is amongst some of my worst fears, losing my hearing. I'm really happy that you're still able to rock the tunes. Those are some filthy techno vibes – makes me want to take pills in a cave with speakers too loud for th...

Re: slow.robot - The Lake Door
Just tested this out as a come down tune from a good, long needed night out with some friends.
I have to say, I really did enjoy listening to this again.
Just wanted to say that, again.
Keep up the epic work man, I look forward to hearing more from you!

Hey man! This is really good, I really enjoyed this – the melody, drums and singing are all excellent and feel really cohesive.
Just wanted to say that!

[DnB Fusion] Psyber - Nuclear Fusion
Hey guys! I've more or less finished this track and wanted to share it here – created with Ableton + Reason Rack Plugin and some other VSTs. It's some fusion of various funky/jazzy/dubby/dnb styles, and think I'm mostly happy with it. Critique most welcome! https://soundcloud.com/travelling-through-...

Re: Ambient Track - Vocalist Needed? - Feedback Welcomed
I love how this sounds. The emotional intensity as the distorted melodies climax - love it. It feels, to my ears, that it is begging for a subtle transition to another level in the second half. I'm hearing some almost drum & bass like, liquid-y rhythms, but more subtle and covert, using more obs...

Re: my latest tune The Llansilio Wraith
I just happened to read my above response, and realised I had missed out a step when describing my suggestion: the change of key itself. The wording I used implies that it already changes key, which it does not, at least as far as I can hear.

Re: my latest tune The Llansilio Wraith
Hey, This sounds very chill. All those Metallica fragments ringing sound very nice. Though, it feels to me like it wants to hint at a change of key, with this subtle build up of notes ringing here and there that fit with both keys, before the change, and keep those same notes going after the change,...

[Drum & Bass / Ableton Newbie] Psyber - Big Cats
Hey guys, Coming from Reason, having used it for a couple of years, I recently downloaded the free trial of Ableton Live Suite - I must confess I'm quite blown away by Ableton's capabilities. Further, I can still use what I liked about Reason in Ableton with the rack plugin! I'm so happy that Ableto...
