Hi all, for some reason when I drag files from Mac to Ableton, it will glitch out and not let me drop the file into the session window. It does this maybe one in every 10 times I drag files into Ableton - mainly on MP3's that are 5 mins + in length (it happens when I do DJ mixes). It ends up bugging...

hey, anyone using an X1 live come across a similar problem?
Seems like if I plug out my X1 and plug it back in, its totally unresponsive even after restarting ableton and what not. a full restart is needed before it will work again?

hey, i tried your tips but alas it still does nothing. Funnily the X1 is light up and some buttons light up when touched, but when i press shift + hotcue the X1 seems to just go blank and a full restart is needed before I can use it again. Very odd indeed. Will try the MPD tip though.

Yes precisely. as this will create the same effect as putting on master channel / looping all tracks at once right?
For example if I want to loop 4 bars before the breakdown ends on the fly.

If I load the plugin on every channel and map them all to the one button on my X1 would it work or would it cause problems? Is this a way to implement the idea? Or would it be too hard / CPU heavy ?
