MacPro5,1 + MOTU 828Mk3 @ 96KHz - bad stuttering
Why is it that in Logic Pro 10.6.2 I can playback 16 channels of audio and software instruments + 8 busses loaded with effects at 96KHz/24bit with a buffer size of 256 without an issue, yet in Live 11 I can't manage 4 tracks with a few basic effects on two aux busses straight into master @ the same ...

Re: Sustain Stuck Issue Resolved
Came across exactly this issue and managed to cobble together a max patch that sends a "Sustain Off" and "All Notes Off" whenever the Live transport is stopped: https://maxforlive.com/library/device/6871/shutthefuckup There's other patches out there that do other clever things wi...

Mackie Baby HUI in Live
Hi,
I can't seem to configure Ableton Live to use a Mackie Baby HUI as a Control Surface.
I can see that the three other Mackie Control Surfaces are there (MackieControl, MackieControlClassic and MackieControl XT) but not the BHUI protocol.
Does anyone know of a way of making this work?
Thanks

Re: Sustain pedal on stop...
It's enough of a make or break deal to make me want to go back to Logic.
Seriously, basic stuff like MIDI chase options should be a standard feature in any MIDI compatible DAW.
I mean, I guess it's to be expected from a DAW that doesn't have a MIDI event editor.

Re: Live not sending Sustain Pedal off signal when stopping play
Has anyone got a solution to this?
Even a way to make Live send the first CC present in a clip on stop to reset etc.. Having to reach down to my MIDI interface to hit "Panic" every time I stop is infuriating.
It's enough to make me go back to Logic!

Re: Sustain pedal on stop...
How is this not implemeted yet?
Most other DAWs are intelligent enough to reset performance controls on transport stop.
