I hope also that LIVE 7 will correct Midi Data latency.... I encounter many problem with Midi and my external Gears.......

I think programmers forget that today there are still producers who works with real ANALOG GEARS or external Hardwares. We want to have a Good SYNCHRO MIDI and A GOOD TIMING ...

My driver error compensation is set at 6ms for audio ....but this is not the topic.....I talked about MIDI , not audio.

I have no problem with audio latency after setting the error compensation.

I use a SUNSYN as external Synth. I monitor the sunsyn in Live.

Is this normal to have 40ms of latency between the MIDI CLip played and the return Audio of the external expander ????

I have tested on 2 differents MIDI out BOX ( emagic MT4 and DIGI002R): they both send midi notes with 40 ms of delay.

For sure I can use Delay compensation on each MIDI TRACK ...
