Good point!
Although I always use CTRL+R for renaming, right mouse + context menu selection is indeed a bit tedious.

Re: Quick Audio Effects
Hey, i.m.o. an already possible "favourites" Collection or a filter bookmark in the browser, then double-klick or drag&drop is at least as fast as a right-click-context menu in the device zone would be. Don't you think so?

Re: Live V.11.2 HiDPI still not working for some plugins
You're welcome. That list could be little shorter cause you can also deactivate plugin scaling in the plugin list, without instantiating first. But still plugin by plugin.

Yes it's the internal "Komplete Kontrol S Mk3". (Live 12.1.10)

Re: Plug-In Manager
Yeah plugin manager would be good.
I have used collections for this. But since Live 12 I use the new filter system. A good filter is better for certain things because it does not need to be maintained when new plugins are added. Defining a filter and pressing the "+" symbol creates a new entry in ...

Re: MIDI CC as automation lane
Well I'd say this has basically been implemented with Live 12.
You can use the new CC Control MIDI device. Using this, you can control, see, edit all MIDI CC just like automation data in the arrangement (instead of blue CC modulation data in the clip view).

Re: CPU Usage analyzer! See what plugins are taking the most CPU
Orig. post was from 2018. Since Live 11 there is a per-track-CPU-usage-meter that can be turned on in the mixer.
It is enough to see a track causing CPU drain and check by deactivating suspicious plugin(s).

Re: Automation write destroys clip structure. Why?
Yes of course I mean with overdub enabled it destroyes the clip boundries and clip naming. Else it would delete the MIDI data when writing automation.

Re: Multi re-name
Just for clarification: You know that multi clip select re-name already exists? Just not with unique numbering.
In my case I do not want auto-numbering when re-naming multiple clips at once. So for me it is fine as it is.

Automation write destroys clip structure. Why?
In Ableton arrangement recording automation in realtime overrides the clip structure. I like to consolidate MIDI clips (CMD+J) and name them properly. When recording automation with MIDI controller or Push the clips boundries are overwritten.
