Re: Aggregated MAC device reliable?
I used to have MOTU M2 and M4 as aggregate and had zero problems.

Re: Is there a way you can sell Ableton live copy ?
I've sold a few software titles, including Live, on Knobcloud. First sale is difficult because you have no ratings, and software licenses are a delicate matter.
Problem is there are tons of Live listings, so you'll need to price it competitively if you really want to sell it.

+1 to that.
I posted about it years ago. Not even saving as a template will retain the grid settings.

I'm surprised they decided to skip Superbooth with such an imminent announcement in the pipeline.
Then... Live 12 soon? Maybe? No? Ok...

Re: A thorny problem
I don't see it as a problem at all. It happens everywhere and I find it wonderfully telling: Artistry and a certain degree of narcissism go hand in hand. It is what it is. In the old days before the internet we were a lot less exposed to other people's work and we had a tendency to think we were nea...

Re: Audio delay when recording hardware from Digitone
This comes up regularly. Often the solution is to get the audio from your DT into Live via a MIDI track with an External Instrument in it, instead of via an audio track. My guess is that being a MIDI track, Live only contemplates MIDI data for latency compensation, while the audio coming in through ...

Re: Advice needed on selling license.
100% positive. The license is transferred to the new user in a batch with all its associated serial numbers. The buyer doesn't need to own any version of Live whatsoever.
Not long ago I sold a Lite>Intro>Suite, some 10, some 11. They all went together.

Live+Push on macOS Ventura
So far both Live 11.2.5 and Push 2 are working perfectly fine on macOS Ventura on an M1 Mac mini.
Same for AUv2 from Arturia, IK Multimedia and Sonarworks and AUv3 from Moog.

Re: Polybrute arpeggiator patches make no sound
Long shot, and assuming you're using Connect as a plugin, maybe you've got your Polybrute synced to Live, and trying out presets with Live's transport stopped? This may cause Polybrute to not run its arpeggiator.

Re: Panning Issue: Ableton Drum Sound Not Centered
As far as I can see from the waveforms on each Sampler device, some of the sounds have been recorded already panned to one side (waveforms louder on one side than the other). If you want ALL the drums dead centre you could add a Utility device at the end of the chain and set it to Mono. Then maybe s...

Re: MIDI Ctrl envelope automation vs MIDI map mode automation
The software editor is very likely to be sending those same CCs to the synth, so yes, it's two ways of doing the same thing.

Re: Problem of dummy clips controlling parameters non assigned in their envelops.
I may be imagining things, but Live seems to have changed on this respect in some recent version update. A parameter that was automated in one clip used to be left alone when triggering other clips in the same track, but now that automated parameter resets to its previous state, prior to being autom...

How about the Sync boxes in Preferences? Those should be unchecked.

Re: Poll about Live 11.2. What's your experience ?
M1 Mac mini.
First time opening 11.2 the AU plug-ins on my Master track showed as missing (all of them, different vendors). Quitting and re-opening solved it.
Other than that, no issues.

Re: Viewing properties of presets
There is no obvious way to determine if a preset is monophonic or polyphonic beforehand, but the category name they're under already gives you a hint.
Sounds under Bass or Lead are likely to be monophonic, while Pad, Strings, Keys, Guitar, Mallet, etc. are almost guaranteed to contain poly presets.
