I'm trying to use Kirnu Cream as a MIDI output, and it is not showing up in the MIDI Input Channel of the popup in the In/Out Section.
I know this is the configuration approach, as there are YouTube videos with this approach, and Cream appearing like other MIDI VSTs.
What should I do?

I tried using capture for the first time.
I set Ableton to a four bar loop.
I played the loop for a while, just improvising, and when I was done, I clicked "Capture."
There's a midi clip on that track now, and when I select the clip, I can clearly see the full-length improvisation.
