Seems to be RME driver update related. I would uninstall, re-install the drivers. If that doesn't help then I'd ask in the RME forum.

Hi, same issue here. And still with Ableton Live 11.3.2. But it seems, that clicking Cancel leads to no problem and the Pack gets fully installed. Hi, ... The issue does go away at higher buffer sizes but it’s present at 128 samples. I’m a bit thrown by this as I’ve seen numerous reviews of the new Mac processors saying that they’re pristine even at 32 sample buffer sizes. My experience so far seems to largely back that up for general project...

Serious: Something sends transport messages. I recommend checking all settings of all your MIDI devices. Worst case: Disconnect all, reconnect one by one and then you will see what device is the culprit.

The brand new Polyend Tracker Mini could be an alternative, too. However it has a BIG screen.

I see only two solutions:

Don't use possibly poorly maintained plugins or stay with Reaper.

I can't rember that someone has reported that issue with iZotope, TDR or FabFilter plugins.

Hi, I've go a relatively new Clarett Pre+ and the drivers work flawlessly on Win 10. Today after Covid, war, chip crisis etc. IMO the availability of the shiny RME or MOTU interfaces is an additional hassle. I would have loved to get an RME instead (particularly because of their appreciated drivers)...

I noticed longer loading / scanning times after having more than 100.00 samples on an external USB 3.x drive

Hibernate IMO does not work reliable in music production. Seems to be a WIN, driver, motherboard etc. thing. E.g. my audio interface won't be recognized after Hibernating. So I just avoid it.
